You’re working on a file and suddenly your changes are not being saved anymore. When you refresh the screen, it shows that it’s no longer available to you. If this is the case, your file was un-claimed.

Context ✅

An admin has un-claimed your file. They only do this for one of the following reasons:

• Your file was uploaded incorrectly by the customer.
• There are extra customer specifications that we first need to check before working on it.
• The file is meant for a specific scribe, e.g. because it has special requirements agreed upon with them, or because it’s a test file for a new scribe. It was accidentally made visible to you as well.
• The file is running very late. If this happens, an admin will usually reach out to you prior—unless it is running extemely late and the statistics show that no work has been done on the file yet. We only do this if it is truly necessary.
• You have requested a deadline extension immediately upon claiming the file, and the file has not been worked on for hours. If this happens, an admin will usually reach out to you prior— but since we have no context on the time of delivery,

In all of the scenarios, you will be notified about this immediately. If this didn’t happen or if you’re confused about someone un-claiming your file, feel free to send a message to an admin.
