You might be wondering what data we use to keep track of our beloved scribe community and to assess how active scribes are.

However, each scribe is different and has a different workflow and availability to spare— additionally, their language demand and seasonality can influence their activity a lot, and this is all out of their control. These things are taken into account when assessing how active our community is. As such, we try not to be too critical when evaluating scribe activity or taking decisions based off it.

To keep things simple, here is an overview that we use to decide whether scribes are still active with us.

<aside> 🗓️ Note: when we refer to months in this article, we always mean precisely 30 days. This means that staying active in February means the same as staying active in March.

Please note that this means that any scribe that has not worked on a file for 4 months or more is automatically considered as no longer active, regardless of when they checked the dashboard.
