These Guidelines are mandatory and to be considered rules to follow for all the videos in this project.
General Information
Interviews recordings. These transcriptions will be used to gather business information from different sectors via interviews with experts.
Transcripts are clean read, omitting fillers & verbal elements, and correcting grammatical errors made by non-native speakers.
Turnaround time
- All files must be delivered within 24-48 hours. Meeting TAT is crucial.
- There will be projects where customer grants more time to complete, but rolling basis delivery is mandatory.
Language
- These transcriptions will be mostly in English.
- If a transcription comes up with with multiple languages, please flag to Project Manager.
Transcription Guidelines
- Transcripts are clean read, omitting fillers & verbal elements, and correcting grammatical errors made by non-native speakers.
- When correcting the grammar, it is essential that the meaning is not changed.
- Please do not make any assumptions of what is being said. Please transcribe what is in the audio.
- Inaudible: If you are unsure of anything said in the audio, please use [inaudible] tag.
- Crosstalk: Please use [crosstalk] tag when this happens. Please try to capture as much as possible.
- Speaker names are labelled as INTERVIEWER & RESPONDENT in UPPERCASE
- Do not split paragraphs when same person is talking. For example, if the same person is speaking for a long time and there are two paragraphs labelled with the same speaker name, please remove the split and join the paragraphs.
- Identify all company names and departments. Company names & terminology items are very crucial and should be thoroughly researched before transcribed.
- Anonymity: Customer will confirm if a certain name has to be identified in certain way. For example if John should only be identified as CEO.
