General information
Market research transcriptions will be used to gather business information from different sectors via interviews with experts.
Transcripts are clean read, omitting fillers & verbal elements, and correcting grammatical errors made by non-native speakers.
TAT & workflow
All files must be delivered within 24 hours so there will be a strict deadline with no extension granted. Meeting TAT is crucial.
All files will be reviewed by the reviewer team assigned.

⚠️ NOTE: When speakers cross-talk at the end of paragraphs, please use dashes -
instead of [cross-talking].

Formatting
- Speaker names are labelled as EXPERT & INTERVIEWER in UPPERCASE
- Do not split paragraphs when same person is talking.
For example, if the same person is speaking for a long time and there are two paragraphs labelled with the same speaker name, please remove the split and join the paragraphs.
- Company names & terminology items are very crucial and should be thoroughly researched before transcribed, always using the vocabulary provided in the editor
- Conversations at the beginning and end of each call which are irrelevant to the topic discussed (e.g. connection issues, waiting for expert/interviewer to join, small talk etc.) should be omitted.
Example of transcript to be omitted:
INTERVIEWER - Hello, how are you?
EXPERT - I’m fine, and you?
INTERVIEWER - Goodbye, thank you for your time.
EXPERT - Bye bye.
QC points to check before submitting
- Add commas where necessary to avoid altering the meaning of a sentence (e.g.
EXPERT (00:03:42.11) work for optimization, scheduling, management)
- Be careful with mishears (e.g.EXPERT (00:30:30.13) for shift regulation = for
instance, up-regulation).
- Try not to miss words or sentences here and there when they are not fillers or repetitions.
- Omission of Identifiers: When omitting speaker names or identifiers, also exclude any accompanying phrases that could identify the speaker (e.g., "My name is...").
