This market research transcriptions project will be used to gather business information from different sectors via interviews with experts.
Transcripts are clean read, omitting fillers & verbal elements, and correcting grammatical errors made by non-native speakers.
Audio will always be in English
TAT & workflow
All files must be delivered within 24 hours so there will be a strict deadline. Meeting TAT is crucial.
Extensions will only be granted in exceptional cases.
Language

Spelling
Please always apply US spelling and grammar to all transcripts.
Tags
- Any parts that cannot be heard/found by the transcriptionist are marked as [inaudible]
- Parts where speakers overlap/talk at the same time are marked as [inaudible]
Formatting
- Speakers should be labelled as follows:
- All interviewers are to be labelled as - Sterling
- All interviewees are to be labelled as - Interviewee 1, Interviewee 2 etc.
- Please do not split paragraphs when same person is talking.
For example, if the same person is speaking for a long time and there are two paragraphs labelled with the same speaker name, please remove the split and join the paragraphs.
- Company names & terminology items are very crucial and should be thoroughly researched before transcribed, always using the vocabulary provided in the editor.
- For partial sentences or trailing off, please use em dashes (—) with no spaces on either side, rather than ellipses (...). Please make sure that the first word after the em dash is not capitalized.
QC points to check before submitting
- Add commas where necessary to avoid altering the meaning of a sentence (e.g.
Speaker 1 (00:03:42.11) work for optimization, scheduling, management)
- Be careful with mishears (e.g. Speaker 1 (00:30:30.13) for shift regulation = for
instance, up-regulation).
