Case 🔍
You’re working on a translation file, such as Spanish to English. You’re in charge of proofreading the English translation, but you notice the file contains embedded subtitles in the target language already (in this case: in English). How to go about this?
Solution ✅
Fully copy the embedded subtitles as your translation. In cases where the embedded subtitles are an incorrect translation or there’s general errors, correct them and fill in your own translation. This way, your translation is most likely how the client wants it, while still faithfully translating the audio.
