Transcriptions will be required in the following languages:
To make sure speakers can be distinguished while remaining anonymity:
Use Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc. as labels. Do not use their name. This is due to PII security reasons.
If it’s a company entity or celebrity, you can still write their name.
If it is a complete word - transcribe it.
If it is mostly a complete word - transcribe it.
If it is not a complete word i.e a partial word such as a stutter - do not transcribe it and do not separate it by hyphen.
Example 1 (complete word): “I-I-I went yesterday” should be “I I I went yesterday”.
Example 2 (complete word): “I-I think that I, I have forgotten my wallet” should be “I I think that I, I have forgotten my wallet.”
Example 3 (incomplete word): “Wh-wh-what makes you think that?” should be “What makes you think that?”
